First visit at the clinic
On your first visit to the clinic, you will be able to pay for the procedure and the stimulation medication and have blood tests and ultrasound done if necessary.
Start of ovarian stimulation
You'll be taking daily injections that help your ovaries produce multiple eggs. This part of the process usually goes on for about 8 to 14 days.
Monitoring
Follow-up ultrasound to monitor response to the ovarian stimulation. This can be done at the clinic in Mexico or locally if you are taking the medication prior to coming to Mexico.
Final maturation injection
You'll be taking the trigger shot to help eggs mature before the retrieval. This is usually done around 36 hours before the procedure.
Egg retrieval procedure
Time for the big day. You'll be under sedation for a quick, minimally invasive procedure, guided by ultrasound, to gently collect eggs from your ovaries.
Freezing/Cryopreservation
Your eggs will be cryopreserved, usually a few hours after retrieval, and prepared for storage.
Rest for a day, then back home
After a day of rest, you'll be ready and safe to fly back home. This short recovery ensures a smooth and risk-free return to your routine.
