How long should I stay in Mexico City for IVF?
If you buy the stimulation medication in Mexico, you'll have to be here for about 20 days on average.
Does Dr. Castillo speak English?
Yes, absolutely. He speaks both Spanish and English.
I am interested, what is the first step?
If you are interested, the very first step is to have a free online consultation with Dr. Castillo. He will explain all the details of the procedure and answer any questions you may have. It can be done on WhatsApp, Zoom, Skype or Google Meet.
Is it better to do fertility tests before starting?
It is always a good idea to do a series of tests before starting an IVF procedure. For the woman, ovarian reserve tests such as FSH, Estradiol, Anti-müllerian Hormone (AMH) and a vaginal ultrasound (antral follicle count or AFC). For men, a spermogram.
What type of stimulation medication will be used?
In order to have a maximum number of follicles and eggs for the in vitro fertilization process, the woman is stimulated by injections of medication to develop multiple follicles. The injections are usually performed by the woman or her partner.
If I want to start the medication in my country, can I get a prescription?
Yes. Dr. Castillo will be able to prepare a prescription for you.
After the embryo transfer, how long does it take to return to my country?
After the transfer, we recommend that you take a couple days in Mexico City before flying home.
Is there a waiting list to see Dr. Castillo?
There is no waiting list to begin an IVF procedure with Dr. Castillo. However, it is always recommended to plan ahead due to the high volume of patients at the clinic.
Which airport is closest to Dr. Castillo' clinic?
The Mexico City International Airport (MEX) is about 20 minutes from the clinic.
