Secure your starting date
When you are ready to move forward, book your procedure and your first visit at the clinic, Dr. Castillo Peláez will then give you all the necessary information and documents so you can be perfectly prepared.
Select your donor
Profiles of donors that meet your criteria will be presented to you, allowing you to select your preferred donor.
Travel and accommodation
The time has come to finalize your travel plans. Most of our international patients will use sites like Expedia, Booking.com and Airbnb.com to book flights and accommodations.
First visit at the clinic
On your first visit to the clinic, you will be able to pay for the procedure and the stimulation medication, have blood tests and ultrasound done if necessary and leave a semen sample.
Start of ovarian stimulation for the donor
Your donor will be taking daily injections that help her ovaries produce multiple eggs. This part of the process usually goes on for about 8 to 14 days.
Monitoring
Follow-up ultrasound to monitor response to the ovarian stimulation.
Final maturation injection
Your donor will be taking the trigger shot to help her eggs mature before the retrieval. This is usually done around 36 hours before the procedure.
Egg retrieval procedure
Your donor will be under sedation for a quick, minimally invasive procedure, guided by ultrasound, to gently collect eggs from her ovaries.
Embryo fertilization and culture
Your donor eggs will be fertilized with sperm in the lab and cultured to develop into embryos for transfer.
Cryogenic preservation
Cryopreservation of surplus embryos that demonstrate optimal developmental characteristics, ensuring their viability for future transfers.
Embryo(s) transfer
Time for the big day. Your optimal embryo(s) exhibiting superior morphological characteristics will be meticulously selected for uterine transfer, with the objective of achieving successful implantation and pregnancy.
Rest for a day, then back home
