The cost generally includes the use of the hysteroscope, any necessary anesthesia, the services of the medical and nursing staff, facility fees, and post-procedure care.
It's important to note that prices may also reflect the inclusion of pre-operative consultations and follow-up appointments to ensure the patient's well-being and successful recovery.

Recovery Time and When to Fly Back After this Surgery in Mexico
After your hysteroscopy with Dr. Castillo here in Mexico, you’ll usually stay in the recovery room for a couple of hours while the anesthesia fully wears off.
Once discharged, someone should drive you home and stay with you for the first 24 hours. Most patients can return to work the next day, and a full recovery is expected within about 2–3 days.
Avoid heavy lifting or anything strenuous in the first few days. It’s also important to avoid sex or inserting anything into the vagina until you’re fully healed, including tampons, to prevent infections.
Mild to moderate discomfort is normal, and it can usually be managed with over-the-counter ibuprofen or the pain medication Dr. Castillo recommends.
Light bleeding or spotting for 3–4 days is common.
Contact your doctor immediately if you develop severe symptoms such as fever above 100.4°F, chills, nausea, vomiting, or increasing pain.
Post-operative care in Mexico follows strict, modern guidelines designed to keep your recovery smooth. Because of the warm climate and the altitude in Mexico City, staying hydrated and avoiding long sun exposure is especially important during the healing period.
If you’re planning to fly back home, it’s best to wait until recovery is clearly progressing well—usually after your post-op check-up with Dr. Castillo. For minor procedures, flying after 3 to 5 days is often fine, while more complex cases may need more time.
